Restaurant giant to acquire St-Hubert

Quebec-based restaurant chain St-Hubert is set to be acquired by Cara, owners of Milestones, Swiss Chalet, and Montana’s (to name a few).

Two food manufacturing plants and 120 St-Hubert outlets have been purchased by Cara for $537 million. The company aims to solidify its presence in Quebec and is “proud” to have this jewel under its belt.

The Vaughan, Ontario based company currently has 1,010 franchised restaurants, 37 located internationally. No word has yet been released on what will happen to St-Hubert’s 10,000 employees.
