Canadian Music Week announces festival lineup

The 2015 Canadian Music Week (CMW) festival is slated to be the biggest ever, with headliners like Faith No More, John Mellencamp and Jesus and Mary Chain.

The festival, which is in its 33rd year, takes place from May 1  to the 10 in 60 Toronto venues. Approximately a thousand artists are scheduled to perform.

Canadian acts including Ron Sexsmith, Kiesza and Billy Talent will also take the stage during the 10 day event.

Tickets are available through the Canadian Music Week website. Those who buy wristband holders will be able to enter the CMW concert lottery, which guarantees winners entrance to the most desired gigs.
