Judge’s nude photo case to move forward

After a long delay the sexual harassment inquiry into Justice Lori Douglas is likely to resume in Mantioba.

Following a compliant of bias by Douglas’ lawyer in 2012, the Canadian Judicial Council has finally appointed new members to the committee responsible for overseeing the inquiry.

Douglas has been charged with sexually harassing Alex Chapman. Douglas’ husband, Jack King, allegedly showed Chapman explicit photos of the judge and propositioned him to have sex with her in 2010.

The photos were posted on a website known as Dark Cavern. The site is dedicated to rough, interracial intercourse.
Douglas denies the charges and insists her husband acted alone.

Before moving forward, the new three- member committee must first decide whether to start the hearing over or pick up where the initial inquiry left off.
