NBC has launched a new program that allows up-and-coming comedians to finally get their big break.
The contest, The Comedy Playground, requires applicants to upload a demo reel of their comedy routines. NBC will choose 10 finalists whose work will then be critiqued by an advisory board.

The end game? The winners of the Comedy Playground will get their very own show on NBC. The contest opens on May, 1 2014.
