Bad weather and stormy seas are suspending aerial searches for debris from missing Malaysia Flight 370.
This update comes after a Thai satellite saw roughly 300 objects floating in the southern Indian Ocean off western Australia. The images were detected Mar. 24, and given to Malaysian authorities Mar. 26.
The Star Online says the objects range from two to fifteen metres in size and were scattered over an area of 2,700 kilometres. The objects have not been confirmed as debris.
A French satellite discovered 122 objects, just 200 kilometres from the area Thai satellites found debris on Mar. 23. Nothing was found during a search of the area, CNN reports.
Despite the bad weather hampering aerial searches, five ships continue to hunt for evidence that Malaysia Flight 370 crashed in the area.
