Turkey bus crash claims 21 lives

Twenty-one people have been reported dead and 28 others injured after a passenger bus lost control and drove off a snow-covered highway in central Turkey Thursday morning.

Gov. Orhan Duzgun’s twitter account reports that the bus crashed and overturned off a road in the Kayseri province in Turkey,  travelling from Istanbul to the Mus province in snowy conditions.

Nearly 50 passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the crash, CNN reports.

Weather may have been a factor. Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
