Turkey bus crash claims 21 lives

Twenty-one people have been reported dead and 28 others injured after a passenger bus lost control and drove off a snow-covered highway in central Turkey Thursday morning.

Gov. Orhan Duzgun’s twitter account reports that the bus crashed and overturned off a road in the Kayseri province in Turkey, ¬†travelling from Istanbul to the Mus province in snowy conditions.

Nearly 50 passengers were aboard the bus at the time of the crash, CNN reports.

Weather may have been a factor. Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
