Raonic wins at Aussie Open

Milos Raonic of Thornhill will meet 2nd seed Roger Federer in the fourth round of the Australian open after defeating Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber  7-6, 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday.

The 13th-seeded Raonic beat Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic in straight sets Thursday to advance to the third round.

Jesse Levine of Ottawa, meanwhile, lost his match and was eliminated from singles competition.

Other second-round winners today included Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Serena Williams and defending women’s champion Victoria Azarenka.
