Live from the cosmos

Around 800 students  attending Chris Hadfield Public School gathered to ask the first Canadian spaceship commander questions from his home away from home.

The event could be seen live from NASA’s website and aired nationally across Canadian broadcasts.

Hadfield is currently on a five month mission 370 km above Earth. Back in December, Hadfield and a team of eight Russian and American astronauts got on board the Soyuz Spacecraft to carry out scientific experiments and operate robotic tasks with Canadarm2 for Expedition 34/35.

Not only is Hadfield’s life in space on live TV today, he can also be found on Twitter talking about his astro-life, which includes everything from an astronauts breakfast to taking astonishing pictures from the ISS.
