Air Canada locates lost snowboards

bagaj_beklemeUPDATE – The missing snowboards of two Australian snowboarders, lost by Air Canada Monday, have arrived in the hands of the Sochi hopefuls mid Thursday.

ORIGINAL STORY: Air Canada has cut the practice time of two Australian potential Sochi qualifiers, Tim Laidlaw and Declan Vogel-Paul, after losing their snowboards in a flight from Denver to Montreal’s Pierre Trudeau Airport Monday.

The snowboarders are looking to qualify for the 2014 Sochi Olympics in a competition taking place in Quebec City. Friday is the last day the pair can participate in the qualifiers.  They’ve already lost a few days of practice time because of their lost equipment.  Laidlaw took to Twitter to express his frustration.

Air Canada said it has located the snowboards and they are now enroute.
