Learning “on the job”
The Journalism New-Media Journal is a collaborative online publication by the students of the Journalism New-Media post-certificate program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada. Under the guidance of program faculty, students spend every Thursday in their second semester involved in a dynamic, high output multi media news day where they are encouraged to seek out original stories and publish them on the JNM Journal. By contributing original content, students can receive real life work experience (unfortunately, minus the pay) in a simulated newsroom environment. We’re proud of the work they do and encourage you to visit us often.
