SUGAR MAN’s in town

Winner of this year’s Academy Award for Best Documentary, Searching for Sugar Man, started to show at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) Bell Lightbox today.

The film relates the extraordinary story of 70’s American troubadour Sixto Rodriguez whose two albums elevated him to stardom in apartheid-era South Africa, but did not sell more than 10 albums in the US at the time.
