In his third visit to the U.S. this month, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended an economic forum in Washington today.
Trudeau delivered his thoughts on bilateral trade, Canada’s economic future.
“I think confident, optimistic countries, like confident, optimistic companies, should always be willing to invest in their future — to bet on their future,” Trudeau told the U.S. Chamber of Commerce during Thursday’s question-and-answer session
“I think we have to once again believe in the future. We have faced greater challenges in the past than we are facing now and we have overcome them.”
Trudeau addressed several issues involving the Canadian economy: oil prices, the resource slump and federal deficits.
